Connecting Asian Investors to the UK

If you are experienced in the field of business and wish to stay in the UK and have an innovative business idea and the low amount of require fund, moving to the UK is not a dream.

You can now apply for a Tier 1 Innovation Visa. However, you will have to be endorsed by an endorsing body and have the required amount of investment fund, which is currently £50,000. The Tier 1 Innovation Visa will permit you to stay in the UK for up to 3 years in order to work in your own invested business. You will have to obtain an endorsement letter, which will consider three criteria:

These endorsing bodies are authorised by the Home Office. The endorsement letter must confirm if the endorsing body is providing the investment funds or is verifying that the applicant has the investment funds available to them or has already invested the funds in their business. There are additional requirement which must be met, which are:

This visa can be applied for 3 months before travel and a decision should be made within 3 weeks. For applications submitted in the UK can take 8-12 weeks. It is possible to request a Priority Service, which should take 10-15 days depending on the complexity, your personal circumstances and how busy the service is.
